d'être le TOP GUN TECHNIQUE ANDROID DE LA SOCIETE.

Les compétences demandées :

- Développement d’applications (voire de Proof of Concept, PoC) sur plateformes Android (GUI, Service Androïd, communication server)

- Ice Cream Sandwich sur Galaxy S2

- Expert C++ / JAVA

- Connaissance du Php et des standards du Web (html, css, javascript)

- Capacité à travailler en relation avec des prestataires techniques extérieurs et internationnaux (interfaces vers et depuis des services tiers)

Vous organisez et pilotez les développements techniques d’applications mobiles.

 Pour ce faire, vous :

 - Supervisez et animez une équipe de développeurs (6/7 p) chargée de développer des applications, des modules, SDK, …

 - Suivez les réalisations de l’équipe et réalisez les reportings

 - Participez à l’élaboration de cahiers des charges techniques en apportant votre expertise et en évaluant techniquement les projets en amont

 - Définissez les architectures techniques etles méthodologies de développement.

 - Formalisez les documentations attendues.

Au cœur de Paris, dans un mode de travail start-up, Labgency qui compte une quinzaine de personnes, travaille sur des projets industriels qui sont déployés dans plusieurs pays.

Sous la responsabilité du responsable de la R&D, vous participerez à la conception, au développement et l’intégration de service innovants pour les opérateurs de téléphonie sur mobile et tablette.

Le développement sera principalement dédié a des applications connectées et utilisant de la vidéo sur les diverses plateformes mobiles du moment (Android, iPhone, Bada, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, …).

Au cœur des applications mobiles vous serez en charge du développement  sur des sujets innovants, le tout encadré par un chef de projet.

Des déplacements à l’étranger sont possibles.

Formation : Bac+5 (Ingénieur ou Master)

ON aims to improve communications in the mobile space, providing a new contact management experience and integrated messaging features. It supports voice, SMS, IM and Social Network messaging and enables custom voicemail and identity management for all your contacts. ON is initially available on Android and PC, but will soon be rolling out on other platforms, including iPhone and HTML5. ON will be available to everyone, no matter which carrier or handset they use, or where they are in the world.

The ON platform is a central server with Web Services API (REST) with XMPP and SyncML protocols for messaging and contact synchronisation respectively. It also interfaces with voicemail platforms and soon VoIP services. For this reason, our Android development is complex and requires great attention to detail. In addition, the user experience is paramount to the project, with a large investment in interface and interaction design.

We require highly experienced and talented Android engineers with expert knowledge of VoIP platforms to help us fulfill our vision for better communications. Developers must be able to work in Paris and be French and English speakers as they will be working with teams based in Paris and London. The existing team is pushing the limits of the devices, so anyone joining the team has to be able to hit the ground running and write reliable, telecoms grade code from the start. This is not a role for someone on their first Android project, but instead we need engineers who have one or more commercial products under their belt.

The development team all work using Scrum, so experience or familiarity with Agile methodologies is a must. Experience with JIRA/GreenHopper would be a bonus. The position would be on a contract basis to start with, moving to a permanent role should performance and conditions be right.

Requirements

• 1 year or more commercial Android Experience. If you have compiled the examples from the Android SDK, then that won’t be enough. We need to talk to people who have used the telephony API, know about scheduling, Address Book interactions, protocols, security, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Session Interface Protocol (SIP), VoIP, media streaming and Real Time Protocol (RTP) stacks. We will be using standard libraries, but we need people who know how to debug and fix communications software at a low level. This role is for someone who can build our VoIP client interface, so if you haven’t worked with SIP, RTP and streaming before, then this probably isn’t the job for you.
• 3 years or more in mobile software development. We need people who understand the constraints of mobile development, battery life, small screens, limited keyboards. Above all, we want people who use mobile software and understand why the iPhone is so good for consumers and why geeky applications are not.
• Great team player. We use Agile methodologies throughout, so being a good contributor is paramount. Loner genius types are not required, unless you are very, very good.
• Can-do attitude. We can all think of good reasons why something won’t work, but those people who can come up with solutions are the ones we want to speak to.
• Be able to write great code is a given. We represent Orange, so poor experience is not an option. Attention to detail and a desire to make the best possible experience for the consumer is a must.
• You also have to be experienced with source code control tools, bug tracking and reporting tools and know how to work within a fast moving development team. We work at internet start-up speeds, but like to maintain a telecoms attitude to reliability.
